明けましておめでとう!

Happy new year! or in Japanese, 明けましておめでとう! Today is January 9th 2023 and we are well into  the first month of 2023. It is obviously not the new year's eve but we are still in the beginning of the year and thus I'll mention my goals and ambitions for this year. This year I have to get admitted into ITB. I have to and I think this will be my ultimate achievement for this year.  I am aware that every dreams and ambitions require effort to fulfill, thus I'll work hard to fulfill my dream of getting admitted into the university. I believe that getting admitted into the university will bring me success in the future academically, socially, and professionally. Getting and being into the university for me is a personal journey as it is a way for me to question myself, to question my existence, and to question my values. *There will be two parts, the first one is past-oriented and the second one is present-condition oriented. “The future is as much about the past as it is about the future.” At some varying degree, this statement is indeed true because as we see today, history has repeated itself. It is undeniable that technology has evolved dramatically over the past 200 years (since the beginning of the industiral revolution) and yet, our psychology as human being hasn’t evolved dramatically over the past two-hundred years. In the late 1910’s, Indonesia (or the Dutch East Indies) was hit by a pandemic and it is worth mentioning that the late 1910’s pandemic causing virus caused a disease almost similliar to COVID-19. Hello in this post I am about to introduce myself and at the same time effortfully try not to make my identity a public domain.  My name is Rizmi Ahmad Raihan I live in Bandung, West Java but even though I live in West Java I can't speak Sundanese.
